photo not available  Mr. Krishna Mohan Y joined the college of Insurance as a Full time Faculty (life insurance) on 16th March, 2022. He is a Graduate in Physics from Andhra University Visakhapatnam, fellow of Insurance Institute of India, processes Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from NMIMS Mumbai, Senior Management Program Certificate from IIM Calcutta, Leadership Development certified from Jack Walch Institute. He got more than 36 years of Experience in Life Insurance Industry. He joined LIC of India in March 1986 and worked in Operations, IT, Sales and marketing in various capacities of AAO, AO and Branch Manager for 19 years. He then worked with HDFCLife and Edelweiss Tokio life Insurance as Senior Manager, AVP and VP. During this period, he headed regional and zonal Sales and Marketing teams, Sales training teams, Learning and Development teams, headed many projects at Corporate offices, viz, New Branch opening, Performance Management of Broken branches, Reward and Recognition schemes for Advisors, Unit Managers and Branch managers, long term strategies, tactical interventions, and personally conducted training programs like, induction training, Orientation training programs, Train The Trainer (TTT) MDRT motivational programs, Business Insurance, Agency Management and other leadership training programs for Senior Managers, AVPs.

Mr. KOTESWARA RAO

photo not available  Mr. P. Koteswara Rao who is Faculty with the College of Insurance, is a graduate in Commerce and Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is also a NSE certified Market Professional. Mr. Rao has served in LIC of India for more than 30 years in various capacities in Marketing, Personnel, Finance, and Accounts and Investment functions. Thus he has had more than three decades of experience in Life Insurance Industry. He has got exposure to Housing Finance and Banking too. He has attended many training programs in Insurance related subjects in the Institutions in India and outside India like the Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines and Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, National Insurance Academy, Pune.

Dr. GEORGE E THOMAS

photo not available  Dr. George E. Thomas is a Ph.D. in Management from University of Pune. His qualifications include MBA, MA(English), MA(Sociology), FIII, BGL, Diploma in Insurance Law and Diploma in PR & Advertising. He is Fellow Life Member of Indian Council of Arbitration and Life Member of Indian Institute of Public Administration. He has authored two books, presented papers at international/ national conferences and written insurance related articles for refereed journals and magazines. He is Guest faculty at National Insurance Academy, Pune and Directorate of Commercial Audit (RTC), Mumbai. He joined the General Insurance Industry in 1985 as direct recruit Officer in Tariff Advisory Committee (TAC). He has exposure to different areas of non-life insurance, particularly insurance regulation, product design and approval (at TAC &IRDA), tariff administration and health insurance. He has worked on different committees on technical aspects of non-life insurance.

Ms. ARCHANA VAZE

photo not available  Prof. Archana Vaze has done her Engineering in Computer Technology from Nagpur University and M.B.A. in Finance & Marketing from IIT Madras. She is an Associate Member of the Insurance Institute of India and AICPCU Certificant for INS 21. Professor Vaze has rich experience in the Insurance Industry in the underwriting, business strategy, process management and planning areas. She has worked with SBI General and Cholamandalam MS General Insurance earlier. Prof. Vaze worked as a Manager Underwriting for Corporate & SME, and was the Line Head of Maharashtra and Goa with SBI General Insurance. Prior to SBI she was working as Senior Manager-Commercial Underwriting for the Mumbai Zonal Office of Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Co. Ltd. Prof. Vaze’s corporate exposure includes a stint with TCS as a Systems Analyst and Domain Expert in Insurance Vertical. Her research interests include Equity Research on Indian Life Insurance industry and analyzing trends in Property Insurance. She is also a Co-Researcher of an ongoing Research Project on Property Insurance conducted under the aegis of the General Insurance Corporation of India.

Ms. MADHURI SHARMA

photo not available  Ms. Madhuri Sharma joined the College of Insurance as full-time faculty in August, 2018. She possesses an MBA with an Advance diploma in Insurance from Chartered Insurance Institute ACII (UK) and is a Fellow member of Insurance Institute of India and also holds an Advanced Diploma in Health Insurance. She joined as a Direct Recruit Officer in a Public Insurance Undertaking and worked at the Divisional, Regional and Corporate levels. Whilst working there she has handled Marine – Cargo and Hull, Aviation, Health, Fire, Motor and Miscellaneous portfolios. She has also been responsible for Customer Grievance Redressal issues with Ombudsman, Consumer forum and High court. She was actively involved in implementing organisations HR policies along with promotional and recruitment trainings. She also worked as head of the customer service team, business strategist and Risk analyst in the private domain. She has been a guest faculty at various MBA institutes and Banks. She is full-time faculty at the College of Insurance and a Course Coordinator and research guide for Post Graduate Diploma in Health Insurance as well.
